Am hoping the writers strike ends soon - this is getting ridiculous!

So, I bought Seasons 2 & 3 of NCIS this weekend. I've always loved that show since Mark Harmon is so hot and my UPS man looks just like him (wow!) I used to be a Kate & Gibbs fan from Season 1 and 2, until we all know what happened with Kate. I quit watching for awhile & would be off and on. Well I've been watching again, and I'm just here to say that Gibbs & Jenny Shepard are awesome. They need to get back together and pronto!

Aside from that, I'm alive & kicking ... been away & getting ready to go to Tennessee

So I just got back from South Carolina, land of the "special" ... and I arrive home and find a package on my doorstep. So I had placed several orders while I was away & hoped none would be delivered so I could see my UPS guy in person (wow) ... so I wasn't exactly sure which package was laying on my doorstep.

Well lo and behold, I open it up there is the shirt I won - James Morrison aka Bill Buchanan's shirt he wore on 24! I was so excited. I still haven't taken it out of the wrapper, I'm saving it for that moment that I can examine it closely!

But what a wonderful treat to come home too - only if it had been the real guy standing there. One of my co-workers leaves for LA tomorrow, I'm so tempted to send it with her to see if she can find him to get it signed ... but be warned to everyone that bids on the site, if ANYTHING of Jayne Atkinson (Karen Hayes) goes up, it is MINE!!! Gotta have both Mr. & Mrs. Buchanan's attire, right?

Well I know some of you wondered if I had fallen off the face of the Earth, but alas, I am still around. I've been very busy with work and took a trip to DC (see some photos below).

Summer is coming up soon, praise the Lord, but Spring is here so that means baseball season, hurrah!

I bought Season 9 of the X-Files before I left for Washington, D.C., and I am in love again with the show, especially Doggett!



24 is getting rather confusing to me - I've actually been very bored watching it lately. Am glad that Karen fired Bill though! We'll see how the finale goes.

Well I am still recovering from 24 on Monday or maybe the Bill & Karen show? So they are on opposite coasts but in their barely a minute & a half scene, they portrayed so much. Jayne & James have such wonderful chemistry!

Karen to Bill: "Honey, I'm so scared. I don't like Daniels, I don't like Lennox, Wayne is crazy, I'm the only one with some type of common sense. I want to come back to LA & be with you but I'm scared of the nuclear attack. Can't we just run away to the Bahamas?"

Well...as usual 24 was back last Monday but no Bill / Karen moments "together" - did have several nice Karen moments with Sandra. And well I won't post all my comments about Karen's wardrobe, but wow! I'm still a little frustrated over the spoilers I've read for Episode 19...arrrgh, I hope it works out that's all I'm saying.

Karen getting ready for a meeting: "I'm sorry, I'm saving this seat for my husband & I...we're sitting together for this meeting."


Karen to VP Daniels: "Sir what exactly are you staring at?"
Daniels: "Well......"
Karen: "I'm sorry sir, but I'm happily married & I will NOT participate in THAT in the White House...My husband will kick your tail."

So Karen made her return to 24 on Monday, though I am not very happy that she is still "stuck" in DC - don't get me started on how all of that is so messed up.

Anyways, it was nice to see she had time to go home & change clothes and earrings...see below



Nice brown leather jacket & scarf along with some new earrings - at least she's still got the diamond on, that's all that really matters.

But since she is returning to the White House, I'm a little worried but maybe she'll get into an all out fight with someone, yeah right. Here's a few more pictures from the episode but with my own attempted dialogue transcript...


**Karen sits staring at a picture of Bill she took on with her camera phone while on their honeymoon - "Gee he sure is hot. Why am I staying in DC?" she thinks to herself before suddenly a call from Bill interrupts her thoughts.


Bill: "Karen, I need you back in LA now. Forget what you're about to hear about President Palmer. Yes it's sad and bad, but I need you here in CTU with me. I miss you so much."
Karen with a look of concern on her face, "Sweetheart, are you okay? I miss you, too. Maybe we should just fly away somewhere together and forget this whole day."

Where is Karen at? This incessant waiting is killing me. I'm really beginning to wonder if she ever left DC. If she's still there, we better at least get another phone call to Bill or something.

Any speculation from anyone??

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but I've been stressed at work & am worried about some things, but hopefully it'll all pass soon and I can get back to being more active!!

Okay so any of you who watched the previews for next weeks episode know exactly why I entitled this entry what I did...What is going to happen to Karebear? I cannot wait an entire week, I will die!!!!!

Otherwise, I was not overly enthralled with last night's episode. It was okay but nothing extremely awesome - too many commercial breaks. Did love the Bill & Karen blurb (she's got awesome cell phone reception down in the bunker!) But Graham being the brother - when did THAT happen? Anyone else think Graham's "son" is really Jack's son? Hmm lots of twists.

aimless_glee had these posted on her site & they were wonderful so I just had to use them, too. Though I did crop out the other cast members in two of them. Hope you enjoy as much as I do :)

Morrison: Yeah, there's a history there that will be fully explored in episodes to come.

Holy whoa, that's all I can say right now...

So all my friends are very concerned about the status of my heart - well I am still alive but last night about killed me. I've been exercising like a mad woman & my pulse has been running around 208 while on the treadmill (yeah I know waaay to fast) but last night with Bill & Karen - it was probably 408...

You know it's so funny, I so predicted they'd get together but yet kept denying it - but holy crap, wow, I'm like in Heaven.

They're so MY couple - they absolutely rock!

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?

Ummm...let me think, I guess went to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville - yeah so I've lived in North Carolina my entire life & had never been there - but now I have!! Oh & probably the thing I've NEVER done before, was purchase my own car!


2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I didn't make any for 2006, but I'll definitely be making some for 2007 - I've got to lose some weight, if it takes getting my ears stapled to do it!


3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Several of my friends did, yes, but no one in my family - thank God

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Not very close to me - a couple of Great Aunts or something but no one really closely related


5. What countries did you visit?

None this year - I did in 2005 though

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?

Oh I dunno - there are plenty of things

July 22 - the infamous road trip; August 2 - dear friends birthday; September 28 (I think) the day my world came crashing to a halt

Success at work, I guess - I dunno there's been some achievements, especialy getting my insurance license

Plenty of failures - can't pick which was the worst

10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?

Well I fell out the door & down some stairs on Thanksgiving Day - so I'm still suffering a little from that...nothing otherwise

My Ford Explorer!

Oh wow, I haven't written in forever. It's been really busy at work & I've been going back to insurance school to get my license & such. So I'm staying busy. But let me post some new pics below.

Well I'm seriously about to go crazy with this Tropical Storm looming off the coast. I'm actually not worried about it doing too much but back in June when Alberto came over, I nearly got trapped at the office & that is certainly a place I do NOT want to get trapped at this time. Maybe I should have a protector - how about.... I think Aaron would provide me good protection before, during & after the storm - stealing him from Martha! Anyways, I'll survive, I've survived a Category 4, so I can take weenie Ernesto on. I'll just spend my evening watching movies, well provided we have power!! But until then, I'm relatively bored at work, so I'm going to post some pictures I enjoy looking at and will leave them to the following people should I not survive this flood (haha!) My Last Will of Pictures in Testament: First for, miss_mirren: Congrats to Helen - I know you're still bouncing off the walls!!! During the storm, since I have a roommate staying with me, we'll have a lot of laughs. So for ladyofvavalon77: For my dear lostonbroadway, well we both "heart" her and I love this picture: Cherish AJ and make that sometime in the future, they have a West Wing reunion without John Wells! For tallulah2, well I know we don't share a love for M/C and I can't put a M/A picture up here, so I'll leave you this picture - the next best "Martha" couple: *Plus since you're my Designing Women buddy, you can cherish that as Charlene & JD - though I will always love Charlene & Bill - such cuteness. Sooooo...the 58th Annual Emmys have now come & gone. Sure there are many people out there who aren't particularly happy with how the awards went. Here's my brief recap including several different photos that I felt like sharing.

Arrivals were very interesting....


Must Love Allison Janney - I will truly miss CJ Cregg, she was a hoot!! (BTW, Richard said if AJ won, they'd get married the next day - guess that didn't work out for him)


Stockard Channing - another person I "heart" - sure her show got canceled, but she's funnier than Julia-Louis Dreyfuss. Loved how Stockard sat with her TWW pals!


Here's my man - Kiefer Sutherland - FINALLY he got his Emmy - totally deserved. If you watch Jean's reaction (hands over her mouth & double fist pump) - we both did the same reaction at the exact same time!


Speaking of the beautiful Mrs. Martha Logan - oops Jean Smart - she was stunning. Did anyone catch her large blue topaz ring? I've got a good picture...

Yes, I was a little upset that my favorite two didn't win. Was I surprised that they didn't win? No, I didn't get that "feeling" that I always tell lostonbroadway about. I didn't have the feeling that they'd win - but I was still hopeful. But even though they didn't win, they still looked good together.


Of course I had TWO moments that were the highlights of the evening - the first great moment was of course:


Yeah baby, bringing home the big one - eat that Grey's Anatomy. So glad that Jayne Atkinson & James Morrison were there. Greg, Jean, Jayne & James - the reasons 24 won (haha!)

But the ultimate highlight of the moment for me - it made me totally forget about Jean & Greg losing was.....

"Good morning, Angels..."


OMG - my original Angels reunited. I totally did not expect this, my source didn't give me this information & it totally FLOORED me. Farrah is stupid (never liked her anyways) but Jaclyn & Kate - I LOVE them. Yay!!

So, even though Greg & Jean might not have won, that's okay - we still got the big award & I got my Angels reunion and everyone looked marvellous!

I promise that I am going to have up my personal Emmy recap. I was hoping to have it up yesterday but got very busy at work, but I promise I'll have something up this afternoon - full of wonderful snapshots, etc.

Oh wow, less than 24 hours until the Emmys - I literally cannot sit still. But below is like one picture that about made me die - everyone has joked since the nominations were revealed that these shouldn't be called the Emmy Awards but the Meredith Awards b/c everyone of my favorite actresses / actors are nominated (well most of them). And the picture below of two of my favorite actresses together about sent me over the edge - Allison Janney & Jean Smart - wow!!



Now I want to express how much I adore ladyofavalon77 I have always adored her so much for sharing my M/C love, but after her new piece of artwork, I adore her more. I'm going to share this b/c it is flat out HOT!!!!!
