Two Years...

So wow, it's been two years since I last posted on my LJ -- it's a miracle I still remembered I had an account.

Am still loving 24. So sad over Bill Buchanan's death (maybe he's really deep undercover CIA, yeah right, I know). Am hoping one day Karen Hayes will make a return to the show. But until then, I will suffice with President Allison Taylor & Ethan Kanin -- wowsers!!

Merry Christmas!

Here's wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year ...

Or ... as I've resorted to saying ...

Wishing you a Happy Hollydays and have a Lauren Holly Jolly Christmas, ha!

Am hoping the writers strike ends soon - this is getting ridiculous!

She's Back...Just in the Wrong Place

So Karen made her return to 24 on Monday, though I am not very happy that she is still "stuck" in DC - don't get me started on how all of that is so messed up.

Anyways, it was nice to see she had time to go home & change clothes and earrings...see below

Nice brown leather jacket & scarf along with some new earrings - at least she's still got the diamond on, that's all that really matters.

But since she is returning to the White House, I'm a little worried but maybe she'll get into an all out fight with someone, yeah right. Here's a few more pictures from the episode but with my own attempted dialogue transcript...

**Karen sits staring at a picture of Bill she took on with her camera phone while on their honeymoon - "Gee he sure is hot. Why am I staying in DC?" she thinks to herself before suddenly a call from Bill interrupts her thoughts.

Bill: "Karen, I need you back in LA now. Forget what you're about to hear about President Palmer. Yes it's sad and bad, but I need you here in CTU with me. I miss you so much."
Karen with a look of concern on her face, "Sweetheart, are you okay? I miss you, too. Maybe we should just fly away somewhere together and forget this whole day."

O Karen, Where Art Thou?

Where is Karen at? This incessant waiting is killing me. I'm really beginning to wonder if she ever left DC. If she's still there, we better at least get another phone call to Bill or something.

Any speculation from anyone??

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but I've been stressed at work & am worried about some things, but hopefully it'll all pass soon and I can get back to being more active!!

Oh holy crap!

Okay so any of you who watched the previews for next weeks episode know exactly why I entitled this entry what I did...What is going to happen to Karebear? I cannot wait an entire week, I will die!!!!!

Otherwise, I was not overly enthralled with last night's episode. It was okay but nothing extremely awesome - too many commercial breaks. Did love the Bill & Karen blurb (she's got awesome cell phone reception down in the bunker!) But Graham being the brother - when did THAT happen? Anyone else think Graham's "son" is really Jack's son? Hmm lots of twists.

aimless_glee had these posted on her site & they were wonderful so I just had to use them, too. Though I did crop out the other cast members in two of them. Hope you enjoy as much as I do :)

Can we say holy hot?

Not the greatest outfit for Jayne, but I think she looks splendid

*This is "Bill" & "Karen" on their honeymoon - haha yeah right!
So I got this from TV Guide...wow, isn't it so awesome to know James & Jayne were really pushing for Bill & Karen, yay!!! And I'd love to see Bill whoop Tom's tail...that'd be awesome!!

TVGuide.com: So, when did this whole Bill-Karen Hayes romance happen?
James Morrison: It started to happen at the end of the last day. I invited her to breakfast, she asked for a rain check, and sure enough, we ended up going out for a few breakfasts. [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: He pursued her ardently?
Morrison: He did, yeah. Once Bill decides that flowers grow wherever a woman steps, he has to pursue her.

TVGuide.com: Did you like that they took their relationship that far for the new season?
Morrison: I thought it was an amazing idea. Jayne [Atkinson] and I had a chemistry, so we in our own way sort of pushed for it, but not in an overt way.

TVGuide.com: It provides extra stakes for the two characters.
Morrison: It's also an interesting statement for both of them. That a woman who comes into a situation like [she did last season] and wrests power from a man — and to find that they both can be attracted to each other in spite of that — is actually a compliment to both their characters. It also speaks to a level of integrity and honor — that they would place the country's well-being before their personal needs, and then make a circle back to, "We're human beings, let's explore this."

TVGuide.com: Is Bill fully aware just what an ass Peter MacNicol's character [presidential advisor Thomas Lennox] is being to Karen?
Morrison: Yeah, there's a history there that will be fully explored in episodes to come.

TVGuide.com: But being on opposite coasts, Bill won't get a chance to wipe the floor with him?
Morrison: You never know. [Laughs]

Awesome!

Holy whoa, that's all I can say right now...

So all my friends are very concerned about the status of my heart - well I am still alive but last night about killed me. I've been exercising like a mad woman & my pulse has been running around 208 while on the treadmill (yeah I know waaay to fast) but last night with Bill & Karen - it was probably 408...

You know it's so funny, I so predicted they'd get together but yet kept denying it - but holy crap, wow, I'm like in Heaven.

They're so MY couple - they absolutely rock!

More to come later - I'm running on little sleep & I'm at work pretending to do something...I need more avatars!!
